Kiss of peace in Fresno

Because many of us cannot
view video yet, SunMt will
run 2+ pages of every
Chronicle — first one with
stills; the rest with video.
Kiss of peace comes to Fresno as we
rally 3 times in 2 days: once Friday,
twice on Saturday in solidarity with
demonstrations around the world
to stop the Republican rush to an
election war on Iraq. Friday eve at
Peace Corner, Shaw & Blackstone,
where we have rallied weekly since
the Afgan bombing started over a
year ago. Saturday morning in the
Tower District and in the afternoon
back at Peace Corner where a group
of Fresno City College students
among us organized with colorful
signs and a kiss or more for peace.
See us kiss. See us try to awaken our
country. Next step is to join the
nationwide cyber referendum for peace
which will collect millions of our
signatures and take them to D.C.
January 19-20 to present them to
Congress and hold a people’s peace
conference. Maybe some valley
peaceniks will go.
