¡Don’t cross this line!
Because many of us cannot
view video yet, SunMt will
run 2+ pages of every
Chronicle — first one with
stills; the rest with video.
Celebrating Human Rights Day
in front of the Fresno federal
building where we have demoed
many times on many issues over
many years. Without incident.
This time, for the first
time, a security guard says,
“Don’t cross that line.” The seam
in the concrete between the side-
walk and the entry way to our
federal building. One of us parks
our bike with the front wheel
is over that line. The guard
demands a move. We comply.
He then demands we move all
cars parked in the metered
stalls on the street across from
our federal building. We comply.
A black SUV pulls into one of
these parking spaces. Is it the
FBI or the INS or¿? What
country is this anyway¿? Where
is our United States¿?
See us talk about lines against
us. About our power we must
assume. Read follow up article
where our federal building
security pleads innocent.
