Abolish commemorations for farm workers

In the vast windy west side of Fresno County a small group huddled around an accident site where 2 years ago 13 farm workers died in a van crash. They memorialized the pointless deaths then focused on abolishing such commemorations. Demanding that Gov. Davis sign AB 60 which would require that all residents, even undocumented people, have driver’s licenses. The current law prohibits undocumented from having licenses, a danger to themselves and all of us on our highways. The group also called for general amnesty for all undocumented workers and, most vital, respect for the important work these folks are doing in our food economy.
